L' Haute Homme
Personal projects / Objects / Experiments
Not your average engineer.
I’m Arnout Reynders, a product engineer who likes turning sketches, loose thoughts and “could I build this myself?” moments into physical things.
Some projects are useful. Some are mostly an excuse to learn a new tool, material or process. All of them start the same way: with curiosity, a rough idea and the feeling that I should probably try making it myself.
L’ Haute Homme is my place for those builds: furniture, machines, printed objects, clothing experiments and other things that sit somewhere between product design, engineering and I wonder if this works.
No perfect portfolio. No forced usefulness.
Just making things, figuring them out and improving them until they feel right.
Built, not just imagined
I use making as a way to think: sketching, modelling, printing, welding, coding, breaking and adjusting.
Useful is optional
A project does not need to solve a big problem. Sometimes learning the process is the whole point.
Finished enough to learn from
This is not a perfect portfolio. It is a growing archive of things I tried, changed and made real.
